Command and Conquer

C&C is finally back with a bang this time. With the release of C&C3 worldwide today, i am really excited to play this game. But most important, C&C is always with me since young. From massing mamoth tanks to nuking enemies with nuclear bombs, this is the first game i ever played from young.

This game is always special because i like to built things, and this give me an opportunity do that. Maybe guys like violence in nature, that is why we like to destory stuff, of course virtually. But C&C is not only this, it is the first game of all RTS games, even before the release of warcraft. And everytime you complete a mission, there is always a FMV (clip) to watch. It was very exciting especially in the eary 1990s, you dun get to watch videos on your computer as often compare to now. The story of course is being told in the FMVs.

This game will definately make a comeback. This time, the FMV will include actors from Lost, Battlestar Galactica and even features news reporters from CNN. Not only that, with amazing graphics and a new faction (aliens) to play with, this is going to be exciting. The only thing i am disappointed is that the gameplay is roughly much the same as the past series. (build base, mass force, and rush them to death). In addition, the villian, Kane, never seems to die even though i had killed him like 10 times in the previous series. And compare to its competitor, warcraft had evolve much from its precedent series. Gameplay for wc3 also had changed alot compare to wc2 (eg. heros and skills). Since i havent play the game yet, i really hope C&C3 will bring more changes compare to generals and red alert.

Of course, i will not the play game now. I will only play it when my exams in june is over. Anyway, i dun plan to go back to SG, so i have plenty of time to laze around. I only hope that my computer is enough to support this game. Require 10Gb of space and 2GHz. My laptop only 1.86GHz Right now, i have much more pirorties to achieve and i need to focus on my studies. Games will come later.
