PAP, just move on..
I guess everyone know how famous Mr Gomez by now and the stupid mistake he make on nomination day. Yup, i am going to talk a little on politics. To think how sad reality it is, and yes. Just a single carless mistake can ruin your whole life.By hiding his own mistake and even try to put the blame on others, this is really disappointing for someone like an election candidate especially. Yet i believe this is really a honest mistake made by him because there are really times when you forget something and act recklessly. What is more saddening is PAP has been bringing up this issue to attack the whole WP team and question about its accountability and creditabilty. Come on, you can't bring up this issue and cite the case as if you are doing doing Law to support your claim as how sucky WP is. Being careless and reckless is one thing while polices are a different thing. We humans are imperfect and may make mistakes.
In short, don't pick up on other people weakness and use it as your sword to fight the war. We singaporeans as voters are not stupid and are able to access who is the better team. If you want to talk about accountabilty, why not tell the public your own weaknesses and how to improve it. Telling all the good bed time stories will not make us sleep and forget about the negative issues.
It is the past and since a apology is made publicly, is time to move on. Senior Minister Goh had said that after the apology, it is time to look at the bigger issues of the election. "But I would say, he having apologised, we should move on...That's my own take of the situation."
"Workers' Party said it was an oversight, we are making a mountain out of a molehill and it was an honest mistake - let us look at it. If you go to a department store supermarket, take a big item put it into your bag is that an oversight? Is that an honest mistake? I am not sure." said Mr Yeo.
This remark is utterly senseless. How can you compare putting a letter or document into a bag from one with a supermarket. From my viewpoint, i guess it is reasonable because when you are dealing with administration, I do put my docus into my bag. When you go supermarket, do you really put items into a bag?
So as to Mr Yeo, who is fighting the same Aljunied GRC as Mr Gomez. Is time to put this issue aside for awhile and concentrate on the election. He screwed up, we knew about it. An apology is made, we knew about it. He is as good as dead and we knew about it. Its time to move on. Cotinuing being persistent with such issue will just show your own weakness on how creative you are.
